My Story

I never thought I'd be the kind of person who writes romance novels. For years, I was that woman in the corner office who lived on coffee and quarterly reports, convinced that love was just another negotiation to be won or lost. Then my best friend dared me to write down the fantasy I'd been having about my impossibly attractive (and completely off-limits) client, and... well, let's just say that 3 AM writing session changed everything.

The truth is, I spent most of my twenties thinking successful women had to choose between career and passion. I watched brilliant friends make themselves smaller for relationships that didn't deserve them, while I threw myself into work and pretended I didn't notice the way certain meetings made my heart race for all the wrong reasons.

Now I write the stories I wish I'd had back then—about women who refuse to apologize for their ambition, men who find intelligence irresistible, and the kind of chemistry that makes you forget every professional boundary you've ever set. Because here's what I learned: the best love stories happen when two people who are already winning at life decide to break all their own rules together.

I live outside New York with my rescue dog (who judges my steamy scenes by leaving the room) and an embarrassing collection of vintage romance novels. When I'm not writing, you'll find me defending the literary merit of romance fiction to anyone who'll listen, or texting my critique partners about whether a scene needs more emotional tension or if I should just add another elevator scene. (The answer is usually both.)

The Billionaire's Broken Rules is my love letter to every woman who's ever felt that electric moment when professional admiration turns into something much more dangerous. Fair warning: these characters play for keeps, the tension is addictive, and I make no apologies for the heat level.

My Writing Process

Every author has their unique approach to crafting stories. Here's a glimpse into mine:

Research & Authenticity

Drawing from my MBA background and consulting experience, I research extensively to ensure workplace dynamics, corporate culture, and business operations feel authentic. For The Billionaire's Broken Rules, I spent months studying succession planning, SEC regulations, and the psychology of high-stakes business partnerships.

Character Psychology

My characters are shaped by their professional experiences and past betrayals. Isabella's consulting background informs her analytical approach to love, while Alexander's systematic nature reflects his business philosophy. I believe understanding why characters make choices is more important than what they choose.

Partnership Dynamics

I'm fascinated by how two successful, independent people can become stronger together. Every scene I write explores the balance between individual achievement and collaborative success, showing how the right partnership enhances rather than diminishes personal power.
